Acquiring Satellites..

I spotted this monster on my way home. I apologize for the very bad picture since I didn’t get lucky enough to get stopped at a light behind it. (Click the image for a larger version) It’s not clear who their target market is for this car but they still have a few bugs to work out. It seems the car is fast enough to make some of the trim pieces fall off. I’d estimate maximum acceleration at 9.8 m/s/s , subject to local conditions.

With the poor aerodynamics and added weight I expect fuel economy to be pretty atrocious. On the positive side scrap resale value should be much higher.
